I'm quite frankly not sure what's going on here. Received an email saying that I will be offered a place. However, the attachment states that it is for the year 1899 and that I have £0 rent to pay. Checked my accommodation application and all it states is that it is 'closed to applications.'

Does this look like I haven't got a place in halls?*

I would call up the university, they will probably have a number on the website for accommodation queries. It might just be a computer error. And just because it is closed to applications doesn't mean there are no places left in halls. Depending on the university it will probably still have places in halls up until (and after) results day.
