1. If I got 45/48 on my core science course work(25%), which is an a* and estimating around 2 high a's in both exams what will I get overall
2. might be just an a* or a high a
3. I was 2 marks off getting an A* on my coursework. if the 2 As are high then you would get A*, if low then you would get an A.
4. 45/48 = 95/100 UMS marks which means in the both exam you will have to miss that A* boundary by very small margin which is in one of the paper by 1 RAW mark and 2 in other paper so that your 5 UMS marks from coursework cover that raw marks to get you an A*

OCR right?

45/48 = 95/100
paper 1 = 120/140
paper 2 = 139/160

These are mid/high A grades in the exams btw.

354 where 360 is an A*. So depending on how high your A's were and the setting of the GBs you could get an A* but only just
6. i dont really get what you mean

8. Your RAW marks are your Actual marks in the paper, which are then converted to UMS to give you a grade.
45/48 are RAW MARKS, in UMS it will be 95/100.
Paper 1 = 75 RAW MARKS & 140 UMS MARKS.
Paper 2 = 85 RAW MARKS & 160 UMS MARKS.
You normally need 90% UMS for an A* which is 360/400.
Here is the raw marks to UMS converter : http://www.ocr.org.uk/i-want-to/conv...-marks-to-ums/
Hopefully you will now get a better idea.
