Sad that some people are willing to abuse others' faiths to get votes. 'Burn in hell if you don't vote for me'. Disgusting behaviour.

& I just find it ridiculous that you can roll up to vote - yet you need ID to buy party poppers. Smh, England.

And I completely agree with the article that all voting information should only be available in English. You shouldn't be voting if you don't speak English - period. How can you claim to have even a small amount of understanding? I think it is time there should be a test of English proficiency before being allowed to vote.

But then on the flip side, isn't it lovely that the vast majority of the population, and I mean the absolute vast majority, take their duty to vote very seriously and do so fairly and honestly?

Isn't it sad that a tiny majority are once again going to dumb things down to the extent the the majority pay the price?

It is actually really surprising that this system has survived so long without being completely abused... Hopefully this will change though because humans always seem to be able to screw things up ^^

Humans don't screw up in general. Just a tiny minority decide to play the system for their own selfish aims and spoil it for everyone. Doesn't matter whether you are in a school playground or the highest levels of politics. The one or two screw it up for everyone else.
