    Hi I hope you can help me out here!
    I'm a Spanish student and I initially applied to Oxford for Philosophy and French this year but when I got to the interviews I was very sick and I ended up getting a rejection. I know I could have done better but anyway, that's really what's getting on my nerves. Just some days later I got an offer from Durham to read Liberal Arts, which enables me to go beyond Philosophy and French and take up some English literature modules. I could rearrange the modules to make my Liberal Arts a triple degree (Philosophy + French + English literature) instead of a double degree (just Philosophy + French). In addition literature has always been my fascination along with Philosophy and I heard that Durham's best subject is English. Is that right? I already know my results and they are good enough for me to reapply to Oxford and I have always been kind of obsessed by that university, so the question is really: Should I go to Durham and take my triple degree or should I go to Oxford? And in case I go to Durham, would I be an interesting candidate if I were to apply to universities such as Oxbridge, Harvard, New York... for a Master's degree or a Phd. later on? And finally is a 1st class from Durham in those three subjects better than a 1st or a 2:1 from Oxford in Philosophy + French?
