You have to apply by mid October of year 13, and you sit the UKCAT in the summer between year 12 and 13. BMAT is sat after you apply, which makes it more of a risk

    Hi Questions4367

It can all seem a bit confusing can't it! Good idea to get all your dates straight now so you know exactly what you need to do by when.

You would sit your UKCAT in the Summer between year 12 and year 13 for entry in September 2018 (so, next Summer if you are about to start year 12). Your application would be due in October next year, which will be just after you have started year 13.

If you take the BMAT, that would be next November, so almost a term into year 13 and after you have submitted your UCAS application.

    I hope that helps.

Do let me know if you have any more questions.
