I'm not really sure to be honest. Basically, a few people are going out, and if they're probably getting the train up. I'll would be going up later, but driving, and if anyone wanted a lift back, i'd give it to them. Im not overly fussed about having drunks in my car, its just an effort, like DanGrover said. Dropping eveyone off, taking them to the kebab shop.

But that's not the issue really, i just dont want to be sober the whole night when everyone's drunk. I think i'll leave it for another night anyway though. Thanks for all the comments.

I don't drink.

However I smoke a crapload of shisha beforehand and I'm pretty damn high beforehand and it makes me pretty high (I'm a lightweight).

I love clubbing, gives me a chance to show off my groovy dance moves. (nite fever nite fever...doo doo doo doo doo doo...oh yeah!)

There are no free clubs around here - one or two have cheaper nights though. And if you order tap water, you'll be served the water for free and charged £2.50 for the glass and service charge (and yes that IS legal).

Someone said £10 is two nights out??!? Two nights out is £50+, and that's if I'm being careful! £10 buys you three pints or 2 spirits with mixers.

Whoa, you go to really ridiculous places.
I go to places in London which on student nights I can get spirit+mixer for £1.50. Where the hell do you live???

I am outraged on your behalf.

I got sunstroke on our drinking holiday to Kavos last week, and so literally every sip of drink I took made me retch, so I went out clubbing with all my mates sober and feeling ill, but as soon as I forgot about feeling ill I actualyl had a great night!!

going out sober can be done.....
but IMO it ain't that much fun.

well as someone said it depends on your mentality.
due to the nature of alcohol it is easier to "let one's hair down" when intoxicated in some way.

I have yet to do it. But I went out with a friend who did, and we both had a good night. I did drink a little less than I normally do, so she didn't feel too bad. As the person above said, being drubnk it is easier to let your hair down. (And when I say/do something bad, I always have the excuse that I was drunk lol)

Derby. I always assumed we were cheaper than most places. Even on student night at the cheapest place I know, Spirit+ Mixer is £2. Cheapest pints we get are about £2.30-40. But that's in a pub. One of the places we go charged me £4.50 for a double jd + coke last week.

Note to self: Don't take any nights out in Derby.
