(So I'm going to have to put the Olympic Effect down to this one!)

    Hi!

I've been interested in archery for years - I've done the beginners course at the closest club twice (bc I didn't get chance to finish it the first time) and I want to commit myself to the sport wholeheartedly.

Does anyone have recommendations on recurve bows, shops where I can buy one, and things such as diet and exercise plans?

    Many thanks

    Hello,

Archery is an amazing sport and I hope you are really enjoying shooting. You don't have to change your daily diet for archery at all but if you compete or just want to shoot your best, carbohydrates and protein are recommend (I always like a bacon sandwich in the morning). As for exercise, it is best to build up your core strength and the strength in your back muscles. Also before you shoot, warm up your muscles by swinging your arms back and forth, etc.

    Hope this helps x
