Is it normal for SFE to ask the university to contact a student to say their application for funding is being cancelled, as their course isn't eligible for funding? I'm rather fuming I heard this from the university who have been informed before I've even told them I was assessed and fully awarded the Postgrad Loan which I'd applied for - and which my online application still shows as being scheduled for payments! Surely that information should be coming from the funding body?
