Hi!

At Medway School of Pharmacy we offer BSc Hons Pharmacology and Physiology with Integrated Foundation Year. Once you have completed the foundation year there are opportunities to progress to the MPharm degree.

You can call our student advisers on 07934680059 for more information. Hannah is an alumni student who has now qualified as a pharmacist and Becka is currently in her second year of the MPharm degree. You can also have a look on our website for more information http://www.msp.ac.uk/studying/undergraduate/index.html and find us on all social media platforms.

Hope that helps,

Hannah

hi I just been offered this course since I didn't meet the grades for pharmacy...... I just wanted to know is it easy to meet the requirements to progress into the MPharm degree or do a lot of people not get the chance to progress to the pharmacy course for various reason such as limited places or not getting the 70% grade.

Hi,

Firstly, congratulations on your offer!

This year, we have had plenty of people reach the 70% threshold, as well as passing an interview and therefore entering our MPharm programme via the foundation year.

Personally, I believe foundation routes give you an advantage when getting into year 1 of a degree programme. You have already experienced University for a year, and understand the processes. Unlike A-Levels, the course is designed to help you transition to either Pharmacy or Pharmacology and Physiology and is therefore easier to achieve that 70% here then getting a B at A-Level.

We have a seen a great success rate. I hope you will be part of that success again next year!

We look forward to meeting you.

Best wishes,

Sammi

Hi,

Are you applying for 2017 entry?

When writing your personal statement for the foundation year it would be beneficial to talk about your reasoning for wanting to sit the foundation year, i,e your ambitions for Pharmacy.

I would say mention both
