    Hi guys,

I've recently just finished doing my NCS programme and I loved it. I've made so many new friends.

Because I loved it so much I was told by my senior mentor that I should apply to become a mentor as I was really outgoing, friendly, confident and so down to earth.

My question is because I'm only 16 (17 on October 17th) would I be able to apply and would I be successful since I'm a bit younger than all the other mentors. (the youngest mentor was 18) whilst doing the programme I always wanted to be a mentor and my senior mentor said it is lots of fun.

Should I apply now or should I wait to apply when I'm 18.

    Thanks

My friend who has been a mentor I think 4 times now, was 17 when she first became a mentor, so I'd definitely go for it! You have nothing to lose and they wouldn't have suggested it if they didn't think you were up to the job! good luck
