I've been on the pill for 8 months now. I haven't bled at all for 7 months, but for the past four days (and still counting?) I have had bleeding a little heavier then spotting now and then everyday. I am 15 and I'm a very active person and quite healthy. I take them at similar times in the day, and the only difference in the past 4 days is that I took them about 3 hours later then normal. Is this whats causing bleeding? How long will it last? Please help, thanks.

It's not going to be taking it a couple of hours later than usual.

For women using progesterone-only contraception, bleeding can vary a lot between women and over time. This is just a bit heavier and longer than the spotting you're used to, but it should settle back by a week or so. If it doesn't, you can talk about other options with whoever prescribed it.
