Moving into a house in Sept with good, but questionable flatmates.

The leader of the house (who organised the papers and everything) said the house is already with British Gas and 7 Electric. He told us to see if we can get better rates. I asked him how are we suppose to do that if we don't know the rates already - he just told us to look it up (yes, sigh).

So my question is does anyone have any good ideas which ones are good but cheap? The house will be in Oxford so it won't be cheap in the literal sense, but would be grateful if I can get any tips and advice!
