So it's less than a week away until results day and I'm absolutely dreading it! Basically im worried about my results, due to mitigating circumstances I have had an extremely difficult couple of years which have affected my A Levels a lot. The university I want to go to gave me a conditional offer of 300 UCAS points, however I'm very doubtful of achieving this by quite a lot of points, I emailed admissions about my circumstances and also had a tutor from my college do so and the uni said they added it to my application and will consider it when they get my results, however I'm very worried about it. Has anyone else had a similar experience or have any advice? I know it's not the end of the world if I don't get in but it's the university that I want to go to/course I want to do and I really want to go this year. Thanks in advance.

Rest assured, your extenuating circumstances seem to have been put in well on time so that may help by a bit.

Also, there's no guarantee that it could happen but there's the possiblity of you being offered a place even if you've narrowly missed the entry requirements. (Not 100% sure if this applies to points-based offers but I would hope so).

It can be nerve wracking but you can try to find things to distract you eg days out to.. Nandos or Thorpe Park or something. Or a TV series to binge watch.
