"Rah" look?!

Girls (and guys), what do you think of the upturned collar on polo shirts? Just would like opinions? I do it most of the time out of habit (and because I have quite a stocky frame - it makes me look taller!) but annoyingly I've been called "rah" or "wannabe rah" many times in the past. It just frustrates me!!!

Opinions please?? Keep it up or give in to pressure and turn it down!

always pop your collar, but then again I am what people on here would call a rah and look "down" on me for - Deck shoes/flip flops, chinos, shirt and ralph lauren jumper around neck...

I really don't like the look, it does scream rah but how exactly does it make you look taller?

Keep it up if you like it, but what you're about 21? Personally the whole upturned collar polo neck situation reminds me of 17 year old boys, especially when teamed with long shorts lol.

perhaps you can avoid the rah look but still pop your collar by wearing other clothes that don't pertain to the look. good luck with that.

It's alright sometimes, not everyday with every outfit. I think it's more of a male thing. I only ever do it if my neck is cold. And it also looks stupid if your neck is 30 cms long.....

I do it quite a lot, lol. And I hate Rahs (the attitude not the clothes)
I really dont think its a rah thing..but then again my polo shirts arent in pastel colours

I love it how the whole 'rah', jack wills, upturned collar thing (which I hate btw, not so much for the look but just because most people who do it seem to be dicks) has lead to other people wearing polo shirts collar down, really tight, all buttons done up right to the top.

It can look VERY hot on girls, but on others who it blatantly doesn't suit, it looks horrible.

Sometimes i pop my collar, but only on polos - doing it with shirts looks stupid - and wear other 'rah' clothes, eg deck shoes, jw, rl, etc. But i definitely wouldn't say i'm rah since i don't have that whole arsehole, nouveaux riche attitude..
