Tight foreskin...

Basically I never knew as a youngster that you were meant to be pull your foreskin back and clean it. I don't know I never knew - I just didn't. Anyway, my lack of pulling it back means presumably it's lost its elasticity as I can barely pull it back at all, which makes cleaning it very difficult, and I imagine this could spell problems for me in the future if I have a girlfriend. I've tried to stretch it by pulling my skin back but it gets a little bit of the way and then everything gets all veiny and it feels like it's just going to be too tight to move and I'm obviously worried I'll tear something.

My guess would be that circumcision is the answer but I'd prefer something less drastic.

Thanks in advance.

You need to see a doctor to assess how bad the situation is.

If it isn't so bad, they will get you to rub some cream into it will gradually trying to pull it back, and suggest that you get back to them with success or failure.

If it is too bad for that already they will probably offer circumcision to you.

Yep, see a doc

How do you mean "all veiny"?
Doctor is probably best advice, if you don't wanna do that then just be gentle ok

No foreskin is really easy and safe. I have the same problem when I was like 1 or something so I've never had to worry about this...foreskin thing. Girls like it more I hear.

Your post makes little sense to em but i think what you're trying to say is you've been circumcised and reckon girls prefer that and something happened when you were 1 that forced you to get the operation

i used to have the same problem
i was never told to pull it bak and clean it... no sex ed in my school
just move it bak back and forth... sort of like a massage
have a bath, slowly move ot bak and wiggle it to get rid of any gunk, just progress on that
i am no doctor so if u feel that it would be better to go see one then go.
i was a coward and didnt go, but i can pull it bak now and clean it

lol, so the OP has never masturbated?

I wouldn't care how tight it was or how much a g/f didn't like it, I wouldn't get anything chopped off for anyone lol.

Making a difference how?

No, I do all the time. It doesn't make that difficult at all. The only reason I thought it'd be difficult in later life is as it pretains to oral sex, as obviously it's very difficult to clean. It doesn't really give me any personal discomfort though.

You mean you're worried some girl will be going down on you and get put off cause you're a bit cheesy, having not been able to give yourself a good wash?

get some lube...

You can cure the problem just by stretching the foreskin, you don't really even need to see a doctor

Search google for "phimosis"

EXACTLY.

At first its tight, but it kinda stretches and you get use to it with the help of sex. My first time, OMG:eek: . I spent more time looking at my penis thinking
(Is that meant to happen), and it was painful. I remember after sex, after my girl left for the bathroom I was there trying to "fix" it. lol.

So, I say. No worries now. Wait till you have sex, prey that having it pulled back doesn't hurt too much, and in a short while it'll be stretchy enough to cause no pain, if it continues, see a doctor.

Strange. I apparently have phimosis, but I didn't realise it was a medical condition at all, in fact, I thought what I had was normal. I have no problem masturbating or having sex either. It only becomes a problem if you make it a problem.

Sit in a hot bath and stew for a while.
Slowly pull it back and see how far you can get

Although if it is really really painful or really really tight then I would go see a doctor.

Men aren't meant to have hot baths. It's bad for the lads in a pads. They don't like the heat that's why they drop from the rest of you so they don't over heat.

Phimosis. See your GP, pronto.

Your guess is misguided - circumcision is hardly a drastic procedure, rather a straightforward one with just a little temporary soreness that is controlled with simple painkillers. Other treatments, such as applying steroid cream and daily gentle stretching, are for under-5s.

No, they're not. If he gradually pulls it back a bit each day, he should be able to get it back after a few weeks. Seeing a doctor wouldn't hurt, but it's not something that requires circumcision. His foreskin is tight and unused to being pulled back, that's all.

edit: OP, look here. At least the authors of this Wikipedia page seem to know what they're talking about. You don't need to have any surgical methods, you can get cream or you can try stretching. Circumcision is unlikely to be necessary.

EDIT:The OP said that he can't totally pull back his foreskin by himself.

OP: See your GP before it develops into paraphimosis and you get penile gangrene. I kid you not.

How is it going to develop into paraphimosis? That's where the skin gets stuck behind the head, it's not going to do that by itself. If he gradually manages to get it less tight and one day does get it behind the glans, it's not as if he won't be able to get it forward again.
