black and purple :s ugh

is the uni footie/cricket league very competitive?

Can I compete for the LSE?

As mentioned above, you will be given the option to spar during training.

Your progress will be measured by the coaching staff, and opportunities will be available for you to represent the university in amateur competitions, if you are interested.

We are also looking to host an inter-university 'Fight Night' at the LSE, during the course of the year. This will raise money for the Student Union's selected RAG-week charities.

OMG if i get in i will bring home gold for LSE!

they dont usually wear the gear around campus... and cricket season is the time when no-ones there really... bit of a tricky one...
footy team is reaally good though.. pretty stiff competition for the top 4 teams.. the top 2 especially are of very high standard

cricket seasons normally everywhere always start when exams are looming

So? A few hours a week, or even a day isn't much committment. You're hardly going to be revising/working all the time.

A good training session should drain you pretty much, which will leave you quite worn out the whole day... currently where I play, the training is gruesome... so will leave you feeling achey. Ahh they probably wont take it serious though.

the soc page says they cater for people that have never played rugby before...
