Yeah, it's not like I think everyone should be a workaholic but for me, well, it was never really that much of a choice. Either I couldn't afford to do anything/buy anything or I worked for my cash.
Yeah, my family isn't well-off, but my mum always provides the basics like food and schoolbooks, but if I want DVDs or anything along that line, she just tells me to pay for it myself. It's fair enough.

but they don't actually help me with it or anything. I'm quite shy so i don't really know what to say if i just walk into a shop or something. And the thought of an interview scares me!!
They can seem daunting. But it is worth it in the long run.

Hmmm... that's kinda worrying that some of you think that 18 is a bit late... I'm doomed then if that's true! lol I've been doing voluntary and charity work mainly in my spare time for the past couple of years, more so this year, because no more school! (WHOO) but obviously come Sept, I may decide I wanna find a part time job or something just for the hell of it. lol. Okay... I have like no knowledge in this area, so those of you with p/t jobs are gonna have to fill me in...

Hours. What they they like? Is it flexible? Can you get time-off when you need to?

    Pay? Do u get perks?
