    I was just wandering is the contact hours of a course something you should take into account when applying? Eg, for economics there seem to be such a wide range like Bournemouth for example which is extremely low and DMU which is pretty high but both have similar results regarding the final degree classification of the students anyway.

    Different people learn differently and different unis will use different styles of teaching so look into this in some detail if you think it will affect you and visit if you can to ask.
