hello, I m 15 and am going to be getting my nose pierced, i just want to know how painful it is compared to lobe piercings, and weather using numbing/freezing is worth it as the piercer I m using offers this? will it slightly reduce the pain. thank you

Most piercings will hurt; although, it only lasts for a few seconds and then it's all better. You might be allergic to the numbing thing so it's always a risk -- I don't think it's necessary. I've never used it myself so I cannot tell you how effective it is.

Also, the piercers I know won't do a nose piercing for a 15 year old...I hope you're going to a proper piercer.

I got my nose piercing just recently and it was super easy and quick, I actually felt no pain during the process but I know my piercer used something before hand to numb the pain and I guess that's what helped a lot because I honestly felt no pain, I remember asking him if there was actually a hole lol. However after he put the stud in I started to bleed but it was only a little bit of blood, also after he is done your nose will feel a little weird and there will be little pain, but it's a super bearable piercing.

I got my nose pierced when I was 10 or 11 by some woman who lived nearby, dodgy I know!
My nose grew so now the position of the piercing isn't exactly where I want it but I can't change that. You might want to reconsider?
It hurts initially and is sore for a couple of days but totally fine after that. Just make sure you keep it clean and don't let it get infected.
