it really depends on the people and which way round the age gap is (ie. if the man is the older one or the other way round) in my eyes 4 years difference at that age isn't bad at all. 4 years when one is 14, the other 18, is then more of an issue. i'm 20 and my guy is 6 years older, it doesn't bother me in the slightest!
I dont think 4 years is a big deal. as long as you are happy with it. i mean, when you are 20 he will be 24 and i dont think that seems as bad. its only because your still a teenager and hes not. thats how i see it anyway
For what exactly? The age of the person we should be dating, or the maximum age gap? Your post doesn't make a great deal of sense to me
Age of the person...Half your age and add 7 years to the figure you get...eg I am 18, so 18/2=9, 9 add 7 is 16, so 16 years would be the youngest I could go...obv. this is never concreter but it seems to be near to what is socially accepted...
I dont think 18 and 22 is a big deal at all. My friend has only just turned 18 and she's now dating a 25 year old, and her parents are ok with it, they're normally quite strict.
My best mate is twenty seven and dating a girl in my year (she's now eighteen). I'm happy with that, they're happy with that...age makes no difference from the age of around sixteen (in my opinion, of course).
18 and 22 is fine compared to say a 14 year old and an 18 year old. Only issues with say an 18 year old going out with someone like over 30 is that both people are at a different stage in life and maturity, but obviously some people don't find that a problem.
If the youngest person in the relationship is over 18, then the age shouldn't matter because you're both adults. (If under 18 I think it should be 2 years difference max.)
