I understand that the proposed withdrawal of what remains of the UNO 797 ( Hatfield- London Baker St. & return, already reduced to one return journey morning and evening only) has been postponed- but only from 28 Aug until 03 Sept!

UNO no longer found it viable to run as a stand alone commercial service.

UNO will also be starting an hourly later evening 653 service from Hatfield rail station to St Albans & return in Sept, Monday- Saturdays only. This will at least give students a regular evening bus back to and from camp with the £1 in-Hatfield fare available on UNO buses. As many of you are aware, there have been some pretty drastic cuts to evening and Sunday services in the last year, with more to come in 2017.

For those of you that use the north Hatfield circular UNO 607: as from the timetable changes in Sept., this will be re -routed from the de Hav Campus to Hatfield station directly via the front of The Galleria and Cavendish Way instead of as now via Comet way, Travelodge Hotel, The Airfield/Premier Inn and Lemsford Rd.

This is because of timekeeping issues and obstructions with double parking in the likes of Lemsford Rd. It will have the advantage of giving students the quickest and most direct bus to the rail station travelling directly instead of as the 602 and 653 do via College Lane and/or South Hatfield.

Further info. on www.intalink.org.uk news/service changes Sept 2016. This is Hertfordshire County Council`s own travel site.

UNO have also listed their service changes with some timings from Sept. on www.unobus.info / news.
