    Hello,

I'm going to be studying a Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care this September at Newcastle College. I'm really worried about making friends... Me and my boyfriend will be renting out a flat so therefore i won't be in private halls. I've heard that living in halls in the best way to make friends? Do you think i'll make friends from my course? If anyone studies at Newcastle College now, please let me know and reassure me 😁

Also, is there anyone who is going to be a fresher in September at Newcastle College?

The one thing I would say is to just make as much of an effort as you can and get involved wherever possible You will make friends on your course if you speak to them, get to know them, hang out with them etc, and whatever other opportunities there at college. To an extent living in halls is a quick and easy way of making friends, not ideal to not live out but not the end of the world either.
