Do girls like quite guys?

Ive got a girlfriend and stuff so its not that big a worry for me but more of a curiosity I guess. Anyhoo when im with a bunch of lads at a takeaway or somewhere im more likely to just sit there and add a small comment every now and then and just laugh at all the jokes. Im not one whos always gonna be making noise and stuff.

anyway what are girls (and boys if you want) opinions on this in general?
I would say that we like guys that are quite... good
I'm not sure what a "quite guy" is...
But I do find quiet guys cute/attractive ...they're always better than the crazy loud ones imo.

Ermmmmmmm quite guys like say we're in a takeaway, and there was like 3 lads and two would be the ones making all the jokes etc and generally talking the most and then theirs this one guy sitting there like making a comment every now and then and just laughing at the jokes rather then actually making them. Ive confused you, I suppose you can never actually categorise 'quite' guys but who gives a crap.

You mean low-in-confidence guys are attractive for you? Or the quiet confident types?

I like talkative guys, but not loud guys who shout out and are rude and show-off etc etc... rabble I guess

and I don't like guys who laugh at the rabble either

Hey! :hmmm:

I'm now an intellectual thank you very much

Also I think Blackswan meant the quite confident types.

eek I thought the OP was on about "quiet" guys.
Meh anyways.
The kind your describing could be one of two things....1. he hardly fits in, he's just tagging along, try to be cool, really cant keep up a convo. (thats not attractive. 2. He's just the quiet type. (thats what I like).

Michael Scofield:
Just because a guy is quiet doesnt mean he has low confidence. Call it quiet-confidence if you like , im not sure. But quiet is nice.
I think the more talkative boys could attacted more attention from girls, unless you made a special effort with a girl.

No im never tagging along, im just more of of a listener and dont like talking my head of 24/7 like most guys, I guess you can say I gey socially drained easily and therefore like to just be quite but im definetly not a tagger.

I dont see how one could get 'socially drained' at a takeaway. Oh well each to himself.

Well I don't talk 24/7 and can't stand people who talk non stop (especially about theirselves and think they're funny but they're not) but nor do I say very little. I would say I'm between.

If you don't say much at all it can seem like you're tagging (even if you're not) or not putting in much effort. Like you expect other people do all the effort. I don't know you so I'm not talking about you specifically, just I've met some people like that (in particular men).

I know what you mean by being "socially drained" just keep socialising and youll get over it, i was the insequre queit type then the loud extrovert then the quiet confident but now Im just standoffish and rude tbh because to be frank I rather arrogantly assume most people are thick as **** even though I barely know them and I DESPISE talking to dumbasses.

With personal experience of being all 3 types of "quiet person" It is my veiw that being quiet is just being a coward basically, and its a trait you should snap out of.
I dislike queit people and they me because once they find out im not actually shy they find me intimidating which is pathetic but thats hypocritical to the max as I was precisly the same.

But this is all generalization it depends on the individual we all have our reasons for being reserved.
It depends on the girl.

I personally don't like the ones that are too terrified to speak, or the ones that have loud annoying voices and won't be quiet for even a second. Somewhere in the middle is good

Girls, just like guys are all different and all like different things. I personally can't stand really muscley Ken doll type men, I prefer them a bit lanky but I know girls who absolutely love that sort of thing.
You just have to be comfortable being who you are and not trying to be something you aren't.
