unfortunately had to defer my finals until the following year now and am worrying unis will see this very badly..

for ex, soton states on their policy that they wouldn't view this well..

does anyone have any experience/know anyone who took a year longer than normal to complete their degree and was successful or unsuccessful??

worth noting, i will be applying for both a100 and a101..

    thanks guys!!

hmmm I didn't think this would be a problem. The fact that your university allowed you to defer your final year should mean there was some sort of mitigating circumstances?
Its not like it will be a resit, it will be your first attempt at the exams too...

But if you really want to know, you'll jsut have to directly email each university that you will apply to
