    Hello.
I have a place on a pgce course, the only condition left to be confirmed is my health questionnaire. This was sent off and Forwarded on 3rd August for checks. I put on this form that I have asthma, have suffered with anxiety and depression and have b12 injections every 3 months. My deadline date for my conditions is the 31st August. Does anyone know why this is taking so long to hear if my fitness to teach has been approved, or does anyone know any reasons why this may come back unfit?
    (Hopefully not!) thanks

I have been in a similar position because I declared a medical condition on my medical clearance. I checked with the university I applied to and they said that the medical clearance does not disqualify you from teaching. The form is used to help the University decide if there is any support that they need to put in place to help you pass and access the course and your placement. There may be a referral to occupational health where you will be asked questions about your medical conditions so that the therapist can advise the University about what support needs to be put in place.

So I should still be okay for the course?? I'm just worried if it doesn't clear in time as I can't register without it
