I'm applying for a hob at Waitrose and would really appreciate some help on what to write for the following questions.
1)Why are you interested in working for us?
2)What skills and experience do you have that would make you a good fit for this role?
3)What would excellent performance look like in this role?
The word limit for each question is 200 words. Thanks in advance for any help with any of the questions.

Why are you interested in working for us? - here put some stuff down about personal development. Think about some experience and skills you might gain while working at Waitrose (customer service, teamwork, communication, problem solving etc. depends what the role is) See if you can research the company a bit, find out what their 'vision' or morals are, and if you agree with it, write something about that too.

What skills and experience do you have? - think about the role and look over the job description to see what skills and experience they ask for, then identify which of these skills you have, no matter how insignificant it seems. For example, for teamwork, have you ever done group work at school/college - write it down! Give practical examples in this question to prove that you have these skills and where you have gained/used them.

What would excellent performance look like? - again, use the job description. What do they say your responsibilities are in this role? Think about how you would expect someone to act in the role if you were a customer. For example, someone working on a till would be expected to be friendly, work quickly etc.
