Anybody work at House of Fraser and/OR Fossil? Help please! watch

    • Thread Starter

Hi, this is reeeally important if anybody works at these places please help! I have an interview for Fossil which is a stand at the watch station in House of Fraser. I didn't know this when I applied and knowing House of Fraser, I have a question.

I am a big girl, size 18 trousers and size 16 on the top. I've been losing weight of late and have gone down significantly- but obviously haven't reached the right point yet. House of Fraser usually have the typically tall, pretty, slim women/girls working there, and I don't think I've ever seen a 'larger' person working there. I am none of those things really. I can make myself look decent though, but not to the point of magically making myself look better than I am!

So my question is, is it worth going to this interview? I passed the phone one but obviously they don't see what I look like over the phone! Just if anybody knows if they hire people like me, if they've seen any employees like that? Or if they do just hire the type of people I described instead. I don't want to go there like an idiot and have them look at me like why the hell has she applied here!!

I might be overthinking the situation but that's anxiety for you! Thanks to anybody who can shed some light!
