    Hello all,
I am very much interested in the Mathematics and Economics course LSE has to offer. Now, unfortunately for me, my results for my A2 will not be stellar. And I am being forced to take a gap year due to financial hardship. My A-Levels/A2s are (I should say were as now I am waiting for results day) Maths, Further Maths, Economics and an EPQ based on Economics. I am expecting my results to be BCD (Economics , Maths , Further Maths) and an A* in EPQ.
Now in my gap year as I will not have much of the problems I faced in my A2 year, I will be retaking 3-4 A2 Maths modules and a few others AS modules to bring my grades up to AA*A* (Economics, Maths , Futher Maths). Now I am wondering is this okay/adequate enough to apply for the course or will I outright be rejected as I will be retaking and on a gap year? I will be getting some accounting/economics related work experience in my gap year as I do not want it to be a waste of time.

    Thankyou.

If you had legitimate extenuating circumstances that affected your exam performance then you will still be considered.
