22 with a mortgage help???

I am 22 and have a mortgaged home with my partner who is 27.

I have not lived with my parents for a year and have not depended on them financially for over 2 years.

I have submitted an application for my partner to be my sponsor as we have a financial commitment to our house and do not rely on our parents in any way.

As he is over 25 but I am not, is he eligible to support me through my PGCE year?

It has to be 3 years working full time for it to count but, I know this sounds darastic you can get married for a few hundred pounds and will then automatically be considered an independent student or you could see if you count as estranged.
