    I read on a website that when I phone a uni asking for a space on a course, I need a clearing number- where do i find this? What do I need to say on the phone to a uni? What will I need?

    Your clearing number will be on your ucas track. You ll need your results and some personal details on the phone.

    Your Clearing number will be available on Track, if and only if you are holding no offers (i.e. you've been rejected from both firm and insurance, or have withdrawn from both). You'll need your grades, an idea of why you want to study there and a pen and paper. They will ask you for all the information they need.
