I had one offer and that was for CCC. Should I even go through clearing. If Sussez didn't want me for a foundation year in social sciences then Exeter, Bristol and Durham surely won't want to offer me anything for their Anthropology courses.

Hi there . I'm sorry to hear you didn't meet your offer. You can enter clearing, yes, or if you're happy to take a gap year - reapply.

You may not be successful If you apply to the Universities you mention above but there are a great many Universities beyond those 3 that have spaces in Clearing. Good luck.

I'm really sorry to hear that you didn't get into the university that you wanted

You can look on UCAS for courses that are in clearing to see if there are any that interest you. From a quick search there were a couple of anthropology courses that had no mention of specific grades under the entry requirements.

If you're set on going to one of the universities that you mentioned, then you could possibly take a gap year and retake some of your exams. You'll have to find an exam centre that will take you as an external candidate if your college won't allow you to stay on.

Best of luck with whatever you choose to do.

Would you consider going to London for Uni? the university of east london still has places through clearing for their anthropology course. it might be worth it given them a call and the uni has student accommodation on campus and a free bus that will get you from student halls to your campus. just call them on 020 8223 3280 and an adviser will be able to help you out. They offer the course with an integrated foundation year so just call them up, explain your situation and see what they say. Good luck!
