    Hello,

I was accepted into my insurance(Nottingham) and on Track it says

"Congratulations! Your place at The University of Nottingham is confirmed. (Unconditional offer (firmly accepted))"

However, I missed the grade requirements by 1 Grade but was still accepted. Should I call them just to make sure my place is confirmed(I havent recieved an email from them yet, just the AS12N on UCAS track).

Thanks, I was hesitant to call because Im sure there are people in worse situations than me who will be contacting them. Do you think I should wait a day or two? Will they send me some sort of email with instructions on how to proceed? Im not quite sure what to do from here.

Congratulations - you're in, and there's no need to call, as it's surprisingly common for people to get in in this situation.

Well done! It usually means they have offered you a place and you have successfully got the grades to enrol.

This probably isn't a mistake and you have earned your place! If it would put your mind at ease then ring them, but otherwise go celebrate and look forward to September.

Honestly I wouldn't worry - the universities have had your results since Sunday so they've had plenty of time to look at them and consider your application. Even though you've missed a grade they've decided to give you the place - well done! The university will very likely send you a "congratulations!" email later today (or tomorrow).

Everyone's case is different, and you have had your place confirmed, so enjoy it. Congratulations. You'll be sent details from the university in a short while.

    Hello

No, not at all, it isn't a mistake! When I got accepted to my university, I'd missed the grades I needed to get in but they still accepted - sometimes they can see potential from your interview or personal statement etc. Universities is a lot about accepting people on their grades but at the end of the day, they are still looking at you as a person so, all in all, congratulations!

Just a follow up to this, I still haven't received any emails from the University directly. I spoke to alot of my friends and they have all received some sort of confirmation/congratulations emails. I am a little bit worried even though I really shouldn't be. Does anyone have any idea as to how long it takes to get a confirmation letter or pre-registration details? As I stated previously Its updated on UCAS track and I have an AS12N letter on UCAS track, but outside of that nothing so far. I tried contacting them via phone but their hotline is busy and I dont really want to pester them with a petty worry such as mine.

ps. Thanks for all the replies.
