    Hey guys,
I received my AS grades today and I done really really bad. I failed maths and I feel like I have no more chances left. Is there still a chance I can go to uni?

Of course there is still a chance.
Is it possible for you to do your maths AS exams again next year?

How hard do you think you worked this year? What were your predicted?

I would go and speak to your teachers and ask them whether they know why you didn't do as well as you hoped. There's always the option of retaking Year 12, or resitting the exams next year. Do you need maths to do your desired course?

Resisting is possible next year but I'm not sure if I can cope with doing A2 and my AS exams at once

Definitely go and speak to your teachers at school. Are they working today? They will be able to tell you what to do :yep:

    Hi,

It is really difficult to answer this without know your results and which course you are interested in - if you want a chat give us a bell 01978293439.

Have a look at the Clearing availability on UCAS or University websites, and think about if you want to be flexible with the subject or if you would consider a Foundation Year programme too...

How old are you? You might be able to do an access course instead of A levels. There's also the option of a foundation year.

As Nigrilis said, try and have a word with your teachers. It will be a lot of exams but it is possible.

Also university isn't the only way of becoming an accountant. Have a read of this: http://www.icaew.com/about-icaew/routes

I got an U for History in my AS but needed a C for my chosen Uni, and I got in.

Sometimes you just need to know whats needed and prioritize what to do.

If you borderline D/C maybe just really hard this year to push it up to a C, or if not retake and just try your best.

Just keep positive and keep your options open.

Hello! Yes of course! Where in the UK do you live? Cambridge Ruskin International College, is a great place. It's a college that works with Anglia Ruskin University andoffers you the choice of going onto a Foundation course before your first yearat Anglia Ruskin, or even go ahead onto first year of University straight away!Whether you have your first year or foundation year, you will be at AngliaRuskin, and will be just like an Anglia Ruskin University student, but instead, you're preparing to become one. They helped me a lot! I've just had myFoundation, and I'm now heading into my First year, and It's super! They helpyou with student finance, and with anything else you need. They are havingclearing soon, so if you wanted to contact them, now is the time, you'll get ineasily, I'm sure! The clearing number for CRIC is : 01223695596
