NTU or NUA

So both my firm and insurance choices have accepted me, but i don't know which on to choose.

Norwich University of the Arts - which is in Norwich, specialises in the arts, and is a fairly small uni. I was able to look around the uni and i fell in love with it. But Norwich seems kinda 'dead' compared to somewhere like London which is where i'll be coming from. Plus i've secured accommodation.

NTU - much bigger uni which is a turn off for me. I never had a chance to go there because there was no interview for the course. but what attracts me to NTU is that its in a city and coming from London i think i'd feel a lot more comfortable.

Can people give me their opinions on Norwich and Nottingham as student cities. btw i'm studying fashion communication and promotion.

Hi cathzeta10,

My recommendation to you is to go with the uni that you think you would be the happiest at.

Look through the courses again to see which you prefer, and have a look at out campus video for the city site which I will link to below:

City site campus video

or have a look at our virtual open day which is linked to below:

Virtual open day

I love NTU, I like how close by everything is and how spacious the city is. However, you may see me as bias!

If you do have any questions or want to hear what I say about NTU, please let me know, I'll be happy to help! :h:

Thanks,

Ellen
Hi @cathzeta10,

Congratulations on your achievements! As Ellen says it's about picking the right institution for you and all of your needs.

I'm glad you like our campus - we do too! (Obviously) Compared with London, Norwich will seem quite small, but like all the best bits of London, most of the scene is underground. You can see our campus video here and chat with some of our current students about what living in Norwich is like on our Facebook Page.

I hope that this helps a little and always happy to help!

Lou

Hey - bit of a long shot but which university did you end up picking? I'm really torn between these two!

That was nine years ago damn, I’m from London as well and if I meet the standards of my conditional that is where I am going. I don’t really know much about other universities I’ll be honest since I’ve always had my eye on NTU. That’s where my friends are going. But I have stayed a couple nights in the uni accomodation for NTU with my mate, we explored the city and campus and I can strongly confirm that NTU has a lot to do, you’ll never get bored. It’s very similar to London in that regard and it’s also very active at night ie. night clubs, parties etc. this is where I am going, if I get accepted, and this was a short brief on my opinion of NTU and Nottingham city.

HI there!
That's exciting to hear that you're considering us!

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask. Either on here where I will reply to you, or via the UniBuddy platform - where you can choose a course-specific ambassador to talk to.

We some some applicant days coming up and prospectuses are available to request for free via our website.

Good luck in choosing the right uni for you - I know it can be a really daunting process.''

Charlotte, Student Ambassador 🙂
