So I got 3A's in my AS level which I'm very happy about, however I got a D in geography. I really want to do Law at a top uni like UCL, Warwick and want to know how much that D will affect my application? I am planning to drop it now. Plus, would you recommend me to resit the units or even get the scripts back and then remarked? I really want to change it to at least a C! And does anyone know how much a B is in terms of UMS for Geography AS (AQA) out of 200? Is it the usual 160 or lower?

    Thanks.

What subjects did you get As in. I'm pretty sure it won't matter one of my friends got into Oxford today but for AS he got AAA and a C in Gov and Pol. He was really worried until he rang them and they laughed at him for thinking it mattered. Universities only care about the best 3

I got the A's in History, Psychology and Law, which I'm planning to take through to A2. Oh wow that's quite relieving! I also found that I'm 1 UMS off from a C so might consider a remark rather than resit. I hope the 3 As are enough too.

I can pretty much guarantee it will, look at the grades needed I bet it only says 3 are needed. They will care more about their own tests such as LNAT and interviews plus personal statement. I would focus on those instead. If I was you I wouldn't bother wasting money on a remark just get really good at the 3 you are doing.

Well I got BCCC last year for AS but still got offers for maths at Nottingham, Leeds, Loughborough, Sheffield and Leicester. So there is every chance you could get in. Just make your personal statement amazing!
