Yes - my definition of a sandwich is anything in/on bread. If there is no bread, then it's not a sandwich. If there is bread by nothing in/on it, then it's not a sandwich.

    Best sandwich:

cream cheese, avocacdo and tuna mayo bagel.

    Worst sandwich:
    Salt
(Yes, I did once make this sandwich. I buttered the bread but did not want plain bread and butter, so decided to add salt to 'add flavour'. Was disgusting.)

So....is a Ketchup sandwich a sandwich at all? If its just Bread butter and sauce...

Edge case? A bit like is a Jaffa Cake a cake or a biscuit...

But whatever I aint gonna abstain from eating them until I work it out

Yes, a ketchup sandwich is a sandwich. But probably not a very nice one.

An open sanbdwich is a sandwich! My first definition said 'in/on bread' - covering open sandwiches in the definition
