Basically I had applied and had an offer to study at UoM but didn't quite make the grades and will be going to MMU in September instead. One of the things I was most excited about with UoM was joining all the great societies they have at the students union. I remember seeing somewhere that if you're a student at MMU, Salford, or another HE facility in Manchester you're still aloud to join UoM societies - is this true? And if it is, is it a common thing that people do?
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
