So my brother got his AS results today and got BBBB. It's not bad, but since he's aiming for top universities (wanted to go to Oxford) is this realistic? He got 6A*s 5As at GCSE btw. I'm trying to advise him on what to do but I'm not really sure...

    Thanks!

Hi there, perhaps he might want to consider spreading the net wider?

His most realistic Oxford chance would be post A-level if his grades improve.

there's loads of good universities out there. you could apply to oxford since your gcses are good. its unlikely you'd be invited to interview based on your grades alone but your chances also depend on the admissions test.
