Hi guys. So my results were 3 A's and i'm not very happy with it.
I was thinking of re-marking biology and chemistry.
Biology I am 7 UMS off and Chemistry 13 UMS off.
For Bio unit 4 my raw marks were: 62/90 and for A* it is 66/90 needed. I got full UMS for unit 5 and 47/60 UMS for unit 6.
And for Chem: I got 71/90 raw marks for unit 4 and I need 76/90.
    and Unit 5 I got 75/90 raw marks and I need 79/90.
Please please let me know Thanks in advance from a heartbroken soul

    Its your choice.

£ cost of remark v benefit.

They will only give you extra makrs if there has been an admin error or a genuine mistake that is more than just a matter of opinion.
The rules have been changed, so extra marks are much less likely.
The fact you got A means theres much fewer marks you missed out on.

Work out if you have the money, whether you feel there was an error and talk to your teachers. Does not getting A* matter or is ut just wounded pride? AAA is excellent.

Weigh up whether it's worth it or not. You have three As already so if you've secured your place at university, is it really worth paying up the costs to remark when there's no guarantee that it will increase? The criteria for remarks has also become significantly more strict this year.

As The Financier has said a remark does not guarantee you will get any extra marks, your marks may stay exactly as they are. However, you should also be aware that your marks could go down.

    Yes you're absolutely right.
haha and you're right, it's actually wounded pride. I worked so so hard. And I feel I haven't scored in papers that I had more confidence in... whereas I got very good marks in papers I had absolutely no hope in
And yeah, I'll talk it with my teachers. Thanks.

So I have been told :frown: Yeah I will closely consider. Thank you!
