Today I received my AS result which brought a lot of disappointments and arguments.
I didn't expect to get those grades as I was so sure that I will perform well in the exam I did because of the effort I put into it.

I'm seriously stuck in the middle of the road... I don't even know what to do next. All I have been doing is crying and not going out of my bedroom. My brain is not working so I can't think of any route or options I can take

These are the A levels I'm doing
    Business
Extended project. For these two subjects I haven't received any results yet because business is a two year course with no exam all coursework
    Media ---- e
    Sociology --- e

My plan was to get at least c and b to carry on with A2 because overall I wanted to get A at the end of sixth forum. But obviously it didn't happen.

But now I'm thinking of staying for an extra year in sixthform with the addition of taking IT.
And during the year13 redo As media and As sociology exam

Or go to college to do extended IT and start all over again

Please can someone offer advice based on my situation.

It's up to you, but if you found the exams difficult then maybe taking the extended btec could be the better option for you.

Hi mate, I feel like I'm in a similar boat to you. I'm just going to have to redo a year. This heard I dropped a subject (chem) and was left with history, maths and physics. I took history and maths this year and got a U in history - which didn't surprise me. I didn't try this year as it was the new AS so it didn't count. But I tried very hard for maths and got a D. I'm going to redo year 12 and do maths, further maths, ICT and physics or maths, physics, ICT and a fourth subject.
