I don't know about the website, but I'm pretty sure it's in the prospectus somewhere, though I can't remember where.

The online version is here (warning - 7mb pdf). As a rule of thumb it's normally between 3 and 5 applicants per place I think.

There was a thread on this a while back, AFAIR...

These stas are not made available any more. The reason is that it encouraged people to agonise hugely over whether they stand a better chance of getting in for subject X if they apply to College Q, or whether everyone else will think that so they'd better apply to College P, or whether.... repeat ad nauseam.

In fact it doesn't work like that. Tutors in each subject work together to share applicants around. 20% of people get taken by a different college than the one they applied to. Just apply to a college you like the look of, or name of, or because the rooms are nice, or the food isn't too awful or whatever you like. It won't affect your chances of getting in.

(ps - re F1_fanatic's post above - all the propectus has in is the number of places in each subject at each college - not the number of applicants per place, which I think is what the OP wanted)

Ahh yes sorry, DtS is right. I thought you meant subject stats across the whole university, which I believe are still published.

That's 10 points to me, then. And for the follow-up question.....
