Just had huge shock receiving U for my creative writing AS exam against an A for my coursework. As the remarking rules have changed, is it worth even asking for a remark on a paper that is as subjective as creative writing?

    That is very shocking!

What were your mock exams like? An A to a U is quite unusual.

But did you revise? When I did RS, I got 99/100 (A) for Philo paper and then I got 27/100 (U) for my Ethics paper and got a C overall. I resat the Ethics of course 'cause I didn't revise the first time.

So did you revise and etc?

If so and your mocks were good and consistent throughout the year, I would recall paper and then possibly get a remark depending on what your examiner's scribbles were like!

    Thanks for replying.
Hard to revise for this paper as it is creative writing "on demand". However, I've requested a copy of my paper to go through with my tutor to see how I could have got it so wrong!
(Got same as you in RS but in reverse!)
