I got my AS results today.
    Maths-A
    Further Maths-A
    Spanish-B
And I'm also studying economics but that is a new style A-level.
I want to study economics at Cambridge but am worried that that B grade lets me down. I am predicted all A*s but an A in spanish. Should I still apply for Cambridge?
I was only 2marks/3 UMS points of an A in Spanish, should I get a remark?

    Please help!!!
    Thanks x

If you have a 90% in both maths and further maths then you're strong on that sense. Did you do a 4th AS?

    Thanks for the reply!
My 4th subject is economics, which I didn't do an AS in because it is a new and linear style A-Level. But will the B in Spanish hinder me in getting into Cambridge?

If you have the predicted grades, then I'd consider making an application. Are you taking all 4 subjects to A2?

    Not of itself, no.

Thank you? Do you think I should get my Spanish remarked? And how will Cambridge know if my grade goes up due to a remark because by the time I get the remark I will have submitted my application?

You should discuss with your teachers at school whether a remark makes sense. Remember that your grade could go down. If there is a grade change, you will be able to notify Cambridge accordingly after your application has been submitted.

As per Minerva, but you could also request a priority remark.
