Just got my AS results this morning, and as I am doing two linear courses and two modular, I only collected 2 AS results (4 exams), which when I averaged my UMS gave me an 88% average...
I had 4 A's, however, they are in Rs - Islam, Rs - Ethics, Drama - Coursework and Drama - Performance, and so do not include the English or Psychology A2 I will take next year.
I've heard that they won't even consider you for interview if you acheive less than 89% average, but surely this can't be the case for our year as we haven't even recieved all of our results this year!
What I'm asking is, will Cambridge still consider me?

There is no 96% UMS rule

There is no 89% UMS rule

There is no 85% UMS rule

If you are on target to achieve the typical offer, and you have A-levels suitable for the course, you should apply.

Current student, did not achieve particularly high AS UMS, see above

Definitely not a 96% rule. I got 90% and had an interview. Another girl In my school had 92% and got an interview and subsequently an offer. I think at the end of the day it comes down to your individual application rather than a cut off UMS%
