I have achieved A*A*A in my A level
But my UKCAT is very bad ( 1780) and my GCSEs are not really great (A*,5A,3B and 2D* - with a B in English).
Should I take a gap year and reapply for med?
    Thank you for you help!

Might as well try this year, no harm, and reapply if it doesn't work!

If you apply strategically you should be in with a shout i.e. apply to unis which place very little emphasis on UKCAT or GCSE results when picking interview candidates. Consider doing the BMAT too.
