I understand that linear AS levels do not contribute to A Level grades and they're entirely separate. What I am confused about is that on my results slip they don't have UMS scores. I read somewhere that the overall grades are not decided by combining the scores from different units?

What I was wondering is how they are graded and how I could find out how close to the next grade I was. There are grade boundaries published for the overall qualification, but I don't know whereabouts I sit, since I only have my grade.

Don't always believe what you read hon!

Your raw marks are converted to UMS points to determine what grade bracket you're in per subject.

And I'm unsure where you can find grade boundaries. Maybe in the next few days to a week. Maybe email your teachers to ask?

The grade boundaries are online, but you're right, my teachers will probably know my marks.
