I didn't do as well as expected in my A Levels (BBC) but I still want to study medicine. I am quite determined to take a gap year and retake my A Levels to bring the grades up, however I know that a lot of universities don't accept A levels being taken over the course of 3 years.

My friend suggested that I take a gap year and retake, then study Biomedical Science at St. George's and transfer to the second year of medicine after 2 years.

    Does anyone have any advice?
