I'm planning on studying geography but I can't decide between these two universities. What do you guys think about Hull, and is the BA geography course good? For geography it does seem to rank higher than Leicester, but overall Leicester is a lot more noteworthy of a university.

rankings..... noteworthy....... pah! Given you will be spending at least 3 years of your life there, which place feels like somewhere you want to be? No point being on a "better" course if you hate the place and end up dropping out.

Rankings ultimately mean very little and unless you're talking about somewhere truely prestigious like Cambridge or Oxford, when it comes to getting a job it makes very little difference where you studied. I've heard that Leicester is a great place to study, and I know from experience that Hull is as well, so really you can't go wrong with either choice.
What's the best type of cheese?
