    Hey guys,
So today I received my AS results and I was really disappointed as I got a U in maths and I've been called in for a meeting next week. I've been thinking about starting A levels again but doing BTEC science. Is it worth doing BTEC science?

That depends on what you hope to do afterwards. Have you got any plans, such as applying to university? Have you looked at the entry requirements for any courses you may be interested in?

Yeah hopefully go university and do something biology related. The usual entry requirements are distinction*,distinction, distinc tion or somewhere along the lines like that

Biology doesn't usually ask for maths as a requirement, so if you think maths A2 isn't for you, then definitely look at alternative options

I just finished doing BTEC science for 2 years and I really enjoyed it. The modules where great even though some of them where quite complicated. I get my results tomorrow by post so hopefully I will get a good grade from it. It's been one of my favourite choices so far, however it depends what you want to go into afterwards

I got into Coventry uni to do paramedic science with a Distinction* Distinction and two other C grades and I did level 3 applied science diploma. It's a great course and it can lead you into many roles. You just need to research what you want to do and make your decisions based on the entry requirements and what you really want to do!
