i got slightly less than i had hoped for out of my AS results today. i take mei maths, physics, applied science, epq, and i will be finishing AS further maths next year (i took M1 this year and will be doing FP1 and stats 2 in yr 13). i'm really hoping to go to loughborough university, and take Bsc/Msc maths and physics. its an AAB/ABB entry grade. i ended up with two B's this year, both soo close to A's, with likely a merit in Applied science so far, and a c in the mechanics module. ill also likely get an A in my epq. am i likely to be offered a place based on these grades? obviously ill be retaking many of them next year, but loughborough is such a firm choice for me, and i really hope i haven't missed out on the chance? also, when you send off what you got to UCAS, do you give each exam result, with the marks i achieved, as i think this would put me in a much better position, considering how stupidly close i was to the A grades in both!

No harm in applying, especially as you seem so interested.

I got AABB at AS (the maths UMS was under 90%) and received an offer of A*AA at Bath and met that offer, no problem
